4. PROOFREADING / COPY EDITING

$2.50 per page for proofreading
$3.50 per page for editing

• A “page” is a maximum of 250 words.

• PROOFREADING services include – Examining and correcting one’s work for errors in format, spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and spacing. Rewriting is not included.

• EDITING services include: Examining one’s work for all of the above plus checking clarity, tone and consistency of style. This may include some rewriting and rearranging of sentences to produce a clean and refined copy.

• There is a 50% surcharge for rush jobs.

• Special discounted rates are provided for those who are willing to negotiate a monthly package with a minimum of 100 pages

5. BLOG INSTALLATION and SET-UP PACKAGES (using WordPress.org)

PACKAGE A

For those who want to learn the basics of purchasing a domain name, hosting account, and starting their own self-hosted WordPress blog.

Includes:

1. Step-by-step tutorial (via Skype or YM)  on purchasing domain name and web hosting (using GoDaddy)
2. Hosting set-up and basic tutorial (using Hostgator)
3. WordPress installation, basic configuration (Settings, Appearance, Plug-ins) and tutorial

Price: $390 (3 hours)

PACKAGE B

For those who want to have a customized blog for their product or service, with quality, original and relevant content already in place.

Includes:

1. WordPress installation and basic configuration
2. Theme selection (up to 3 options; does not include paid themes)
3. 4 blog posts (250-500 words each; non-SEO)

Price: $260

Notes:

1. Client must have existing domain name and hosting (preferably Hostgator).
2. If client requires SEO articles and will provide the keywords / keyphrases, the total price is $280.
3. Main keywords or phrases are limited to four.

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES:

• All payments and transactions are done via PayPal and in USD currency.

• All Paypal fees to be shouldered by the client.

• 50% downpayment is required for all first-time clients

• Turn-over time is dependent on number of work required. On average and as an example – 10 articles or blog posts take 5-7 days; 10 re-writes take 3-5 days; and 10 pages for proofreading take 2-3 days. Blog installation Package B takes 5-7 days. Rush orders can be negotiated, depending on the price and current workload.

• Please note that the above rates may vary on certain projects (e.g. writing a book or eBook; writing an article on a unique category; drafting a welcome letter for your business; writing proposals or contracts)

• NO, I will not do your essay, term or research papers – just in case you stumbled on this page by mistake and carrying that trail of thought … I’m a teacher as well

• And YES, I will be more than willing to write on NBA Basketball (if you’re looking for one), as it is in the blood!
